Popular  American Idol Star Carrie Underwood shows off her shapely long layered style with soft flowing wave and curl created with a curling iron and roller style set. Carrie has learned that simplicity and a touch of drama is the key to a beautiful hairstyle.

This style requires a quick blow dry and a little curling iron and roller set but are worth the effort if you want a style that turns heads when you walk in the room or set foot on the American Idol stage

This style works best for natural wavy hair and small angular face shapes.

To Get This Look   hair is cut short around the face with long layers through the crown. The length through the back is cut with tapered ends to free up the wave. Side or off center part with bangs swept to the sides. 

To Style apply a Gel Mousse and blow dry. When dry,  section and mist with Quick Fix Spray Gel and curl ends with medium size curling iron. Brush bangs to side and finger comb to loosen curl set. Optional: for texture and shine mist with Pom-Mist Spray Pomade.

Hair Color: if hair is light brown or dish water blonde use a golden brown tint. Add contrasting face framing highlights. For best results consult a salon colorist for a color that suits your skin tone and natural color best.
